The college has established the Internal Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) on as per the NAAC guidelines. In Baiswara Degree College, the IQAC was established on 12-09-23 to ensure and enhance the quality of education and administrative processes. The primary goal of IQAC is to develop a system for deliberate, consistent, and transformative enhancement in the institution’s overall performance.
IQAC Objectives:
ØTo develop a system for conscious, consistent, and catalytic action to improve the academic and administrative performance of the institution.
ØTo promote measures for institutional functioning towards quality enhancement through internalization of quality culture and institutionalization of best practices.
IQAC Responsibilities:
ØThe IQAC plans, guides, and monitors the quality assurance and enhancement activities of the college.
ØThe IQAC develops and applies quality benchmarks for academic and administrative activities.
ØThe IQAC helps create an environment that’s conducive to quality education and learning.
ØThe IQAC coordinates quality-related activities and acts as a nodal agency for the college.
ØExpansion of CCTV installation on campus.
ØIQAC played an important role in organizing various lectures by the teachers of the college to inspire the students about their rights and duties.
ØThe IQAC improves internal communication to facilitate policy implementation and quality assurance.
IQAC Functions:
ØDevelopment and application of quality benchmarks and parameters for various academic and administrative activities of the institution.
ØFacilitating the creation of a learner-centric environment conducive to quality education and faculty maturation to adopt the required knowledge and technology for participatory teaching and learning processes.
ØArrangement for feedback responses from students, parents, and other stakeholders on quality-related institutional processes.
ØDissemination of information on various quality parameters of higher education.
ØOrganization of inter- and intra–institutional workshops and seminars on quality related themes and promotion of quality circles.
ØDocumentation of the various programmes/activities leading to quality improvement.
ØActing as a nodal agency of the institution for coordinating quality-related activities, including adoption and dissemination of best practices.
ØDevelopment and maintenance of institutional databases.
ØDevelopment of quality culture in the institution.
ØPreparation of the Annual Quality Assurance Report (AQAR) as per guidelines and parameters of NAAC, to be submitted to NAAC.
