Established in 2003, the Department of Chemistry at Baiswara P.G. College stands as one of the college’s oldest departments. Under the initial leadership of Dr. Hansraj Singh, the department developed and standardized its courses. At present,  Ms. Meera Pandey is the head of the department. The department offers students access to a seminar library, which contains an extensive collection of internationally and nationally recognized journals and textbooks. Additionally, it features state-of-the-art instrumentation facilities and laboratory infrastructure that support high-quality research and teaching. The department is also equipped with smart classrooms and laboratories, enhancing the overall learning experience.Each year, a significant number of undergraduate students from the department successfully qualify for prestigious job examinations, reflecting the high educational standards upheld by the department.
